who is gakuran-kun ────── ?

Gakuran-kun (AKA Conductor-tan) is a minor NPC from Yume 2kki. He is a blue-skinned boy with purple hair wearing a japanese school uniform- a gakuran. His name comes from the fact that apart of him wearing one, he grants Urotsuki the gakuran effect.

He does not react to any effects with the exception of Maiko. When using Maiko near Gakuran, he will quickly look at Urotsuki and do a squeak sound effect. You can kill him (why would you?), but he will respawn upon exiting the area.

why do i like him ──── ?

I actually dont know how I got attached to this thing. His whole deal is irrelevant but he just looks very cute and polite. And he is fun to draw too... I usually imagine Gaki (Nickname I made for he) as just a little guy who's a bit stupid. I dont know if it's his design or what, but he is very awesome to me and whenever I see him I get very happy!!!!

As of now, i might be the person who has drawn him the most with a total of 130 times last time I counted. I also own:
- A gaki bracelet !
- A life-size cardboard cutout of him
- Hand-made Gaki keychain ! ! !
- Hand-made gaki cosplay!!!




FUN FACTS:

- In some concept art it is shown he can somehow hold a chainsaw with lack of arms.
- It is most likely that he is inspired by older fanart of Nakaji from Pop n' Music the designer of him had made. In this art Nakaji had the same color scheme as Gakuran-kun.
- Gakuran-kun was implemented in the game on version 0.091a, 2010/06/20 .
- He is shown in 4 wallpapers and 1 Kura Puzzle.
- You can see him sleeping in the monster's jaw !!!!
